Wolf Caves, LLC is a privately-owned ranch with 430 acres of unique granite outcropping. Located 8 miles west of the town of Mason on the western edge of the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
The property has been in the Eppler family for 7 generations. Near the Northeast corner of the property there is a granite rock formation known by the Eppler Family as "Wolf Caves". This granite rock formation was named more than a century ago by Henry Tipton Eppler and his son Henry Walter Eppler when they first settled on the land in the 1890's.
Today it is a favorite among Jeepers from across the country who are looking for beautiful Texas scenery and some of the hardest rock crawling in South Central region of the United States.
